Prague photoshoot & elopement photographer: colour, connection & a city to remember
Plan a Prague photoshoot with Ralf Czogallik at Eppel: natural couple portraits, expressive colour and time to enjoy the city together. Engagements, honeymoons, anniversaries and intimate elopements in Prague, Czechia, are available by arrangement.
Your Prague couple photoshoot
The city is full of recognisable views, but your connection is what makes the photographs yours. A shared laugh, the way you hold each other and the movement of a walk through the streets matter as much as the skyline. I help with simple direction so you can settle into the session without rehearsing poses.
We can plan elegant engagement photographs or a relaxed holiday session. Already married? Bring your wedding outfits for an after-wedding shoot with more time than you had on the day itself. Tell me which version feels most like you.
Charles Bridge, Kampa & the streets between
Charles Bridge
The bridge gives a Prague photoshoot an unmistakable setting. An early meeting is a useful option for couples who prefer a calmer start, though it cannot guarantee an empty bridge. We work with the available space and keep pedestrian routes clear.
Kampa and the Lesser Town
Continue towards Kampa and the streets of Malá Strana for a different scale: river views, architectural details and closer portraits. These neighbouring areas make a coherent route without turning your session into a race across the city.
Old Town atmosphere
If the historic centre is your priority, build the session around it instead. A few well-chosen streets can provide more variety than a long list of landmarks. Cobblestones and steps influence the walk, so tell me about accessibility needs before we finalise the plan.
Your Prague elopement photographer
An elopement can be a small, meaningful celebration with space for your own traditions. Photography may include getting ready, a first look, personal vows and portraits. Start with what you want to remember, then choose the locations and coverage that support it.
A public bridge or square is a lively shared space, not a private ceremony venue. For quiet vows, consider a separately booked setting with permission for your ceremony and photography. I provide photography; legal marriage arrangements, an officiant and venue services are separate.
Light, layers & a little flexibility
Early light can suit the riverside and popular landmarks. An evening session can feel more atmospheric and lively. We choose the time around the season, the route and the mood you want, rather than promise a particular sky.
Bring comfortable shoes for the cobbles and a layer for cooler conditions. A small bag keeps the walk easy. If rain changes the plan, we discuss a different route or time, subject to the arrangements in your booking. Indoor photographs require the venue’s permission.
The tram portrait above is an example of my Prague work, not a guaranteed stop or setup. We choose safe, permitted locations for your own session and never plan portraits on active tracks.
A personal Prague photography proposal
Send your date, whether you are planning a couple session or elopement, and your favourite type of setting. I travel for destination photography and confirm availability in advance. If you have several possible dates, include them.
Your proposal states the photography coverage, travel and any accommodation expenses, image selection and delivery details. There is no fixed package or guaranteed image count on this page. We agree on those details before you book.
Before you book
Can we have a sunrise photoshoot on Charles Bridge?
We can plan an early session around Charles Bridge, subject to access and conditions. Sunrise does not guarantee an empty bridge, so the route remains flexible.
Do we need to know how to pose?
No. I give clear, simple direction and use movement and interaction to help you feel comfortable. The session is built around your relationship.
Can we book you as our Prague elopement photographer?
Yes, subject to availability. Tell me about your preparations, ceremony and portrait plans for a tailored photography proposal.
Can we include the tram photograph location?
The photograph is an example of previous work. That setting is not a guaranteed part of a session. Your route uses safe locations with any necessary permission.
How should we dress for a Prague couple photoshoot?
Choose clothes you enjoy wearing, comfortable walking shoes and a layer suited to the weather. Discuss formal outfits or an outfit change before the session.
What is included in the price?
Your personal proposal confirms photography time, travel arrangements, image selection and delivery. Ceremony services and legal marriage arrangements are separate.
