Some weddings feel as if they’ve stepped straight out of a movie. The wedding of Samantha & Stephen from Florida was exactly that. Their love brought them from the sunny shores of America all the way to the heart of Italy, where they exchanged vows at one of the most enchanting locations you can imagine: Castello Brancaccio, near Tivoli.

From Florida to Italy

Samantha & Stephen knew from the start that their wedding had to be an adventure. Italy called to them with its romance, centuries of culture, and refined cuisine. Castello Brancaccio offered exactly what they were looking for: a historic setting, majestic gardens, and views that take your breath away.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing many weddings in Italy, but this one felt especially meaningful. The long journey, the warm blend of American spontaneity and Italian elegance – everything came together perfectly here.

A fairytale ceremony

The day began in the castle’s historic rooms, where Samantha got ready in a space filled with natural light and antique details. Stephen waited outside in the garden, where guests had already gathered. Beneath a lush floral arch, with the castle as their backdrop, they exchanged their vows. It was a moment that made everything and everyone fall completely silent.

A celebration full of emotion and Italian flair

After the ceremony, the celebration truly came alive. Guests enjoyed prosecco and antipasti on the terrace, overlooking the rolling hills of Lazio. Later, dinner was served in the castle’s grand hall, where long tables, candlelight, and Italian dishes created the perfect atmosphere.
The evening ended with dancing beneath the stars – a magical finale to a day no one will ever forget.
